About this game
Idle Mutation Tower Defense is an idle defense roguelite set in a biopunk fantasy world, where you protect a living fortress from relentless waves of monsters.
Upgrades physically transform your tower: new abilities grow into 3D organs that appear on its body and directly affect combat. Develop offensive organs, defensive structures, and rare cores to create powerful mutation combinations.
During each run, collect red crystals for temporary upgrades, blue crystals for research, and genetic material to unlock new mutations. Between attempts, improve core stats, develop active and passive abilities, and prepare your fortress for deadlier waves.
Experiment with builds, change your playstyle, and watch your base evolve from a simple tower into a deadly living organism.
How to play
Your goal is to survive as many waves as possible and stop the monsters from destroying your living fortress. The tower automatically fires at approaching enemies.
Collect resources during battle and choose temporary upgrades. Red crystals improve your stats for the current run, blue crystals are used for research between attempts, and genetic material unlocks new mutations.
After each defeat, improve your base stats, research active and passive abilities, and grow new organs. Combine offensive mutations, defensive structures, and rare cores to create powerful builds and survive increasingly dangerous waves.
When the fortress's health reaches zero, the run ends, but part of your progress is kept for the next attempt.
The game is controlled with a mouse.
